THE ROLE

You’ll lead and build the HR organization at Cambium. We are a ~50 person company today and growing fast. You will report to the COO, help company executives plan headcount growth, and develop and implement HR strategy. This position is a critical hire to advise leadership and continue to grow our business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives

· Partner with executives to conduct headcount planning

· Oversee recruitment processes to attract and retain top talent

· Oversee our onboarding process

· Implement programs to develop current employees

· Be a steward of company culture

· Be a trusted resource for conflict resolution and employee relations

· Develop and advise management on compensation and benefits programs

· Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations

· Maintain, update, and communicate company HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.

· Implement HR technology and systems

KEY REQUIREMENTS

· 8+ years of HR experience with at least 3 as an HR leader

· Small business or start-up HR experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or relevant field

· PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred

· Excellent communication with experience in executive communications

· Deep knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices

· Be a great teammate

· Must be a U.S. Citizen (DoD compliance)

· On-site in El Segundo

$150,000-$185,000 annually
