Position Overview:
LimaCharlie is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Business Development Manager to lead our sales team and spearhead the development of strategic partnerships. This role will be pivotal in driving sales growth, managing our existing sales team, expanding our footprint in large enterprises and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs), and building long-term, strategic alliances. You will have ownership over the full sales pipeline, team development, and partnership ecosystem to help support the company’s overall sales and revenue objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership and Management:
- Manage and develop the existing sales team: Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to nurture a high-performing sales team.
- Pipeline Management: Oversee sales pipelines, assisting with accurate forecasting, tracking of key metrics, and driving accountability for performance goals.
- Sales Reporting: Optimize reporting frameworks, ensuring timely updates to leadership on sales activities, results, and trends.
- Performance Optimization: Identify areas for improvement in sales processes and strategies, ensuring continued alignment with overall company growth targets.
Business Development and Strategic Partnerships:
- Develop and execute strategies to build relationships with large enterprises and MSSPs, aligning partnerships with revenue and growth objectives.
- Partnership & Alliance Strategy: Identify, engage, and establish strong partnerships with key players in the cybersecurity ecosystem to foster growth and expand sales opportunities.
- Lead negotiations and contracts with new partners, alliances, and key enterprise customers to ensure favorable terms for LimaCharlie.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and activation teams to ensure seamless onboarding, partnership success, and alignment of go-to-market strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing team to align lead generation efforts and promotional activities with sales strategies.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to relay customer and partner feedback, ensuring the product roadmap aligns with market demands.
- Align with the Activation team to ensure smooth transitions from sales to account management, driving long-term value for customers and partners.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in sales leadership, business development, or strategic partnerships, preferably in SaaS, cybersecurity, or IT services.
- Proven track record of managing high-performing sales teams and delivering against ambitious revenue targets.
- Demonstrated experience building and scaling enterprise-level partnerships and alliances, particularly within large enterprises and MSSPs.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity, SecOps, or related sectors, with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM tools (HubSpot).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within a startup or high-growth environment.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and infrastructure, especially those aimed at MSSPs and large enterprises.
- Experience in a remote work setting and managing distributed teams.

Pay & Benefits
At LimaCharlie, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $140,000 and $180,000/ year. Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
LimaCharlie employees also have the opportunity to become a LimaCharlie shareholder through participation in our discretionary employee stock programs. Employees are eligible for discretionary stock option awards, and can purchase stock if voluntarily participating in our Employee Stock Options Plan.
