Role:

Come architect the embedded systems of our next-generation ground stations! You would have the opportunity to build a system from the ground up and work in a fast-paced team of hardware and firmware engineers to define requirements and get things done! We are aiming to build a scalable and secure platform on modern tooling. Experience with embedded Linux and security are a must. Come join us!

Responsibilities:

• Custom Linux operating system for embedded device

• Over-the-air update system

• Security requirements and architecture

• Kernel support for custom hardware

• Framework of user-space applications

• Collaboration with FPGA and hardware engineers on system architecture

Requirements:

• Experience architecting embedded systems from scratch

• Experience with security and key management

• Expert in C and C++

• 5+ years of experience

• In-person in El Segundo

Nice to have:

• Contributions to the linux kernel

• Experience developing consumer devices

• Experience in Rust
