Role:
As the first Recruiting Coordinator at Northwood Space, you will play a critical role in supporting the recruiting team by ensuring a seamless and efficient interview process for candidates and hiring teams. You will manage scheduling logistics, maintain candidate pipelines, and coordinate all aspects of the interview experience. This role is based in-person in Torrance, CA five days a week.
Responsibilities:
Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to coordinate and schedule interviews across multiple teams and time zones
Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process, delivering a high-quality candidate experience
Coordinate candidate travel, including flights, accommodations, and itineraries for onsite interviews
Track and move candidates through the hiring pipeline within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring data accuracy and timely updates
Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders to confirm availability, resolve scheduling conflicts, and keep processes on track
Support offer and onboarding logistics in partnership with recruiters and People Operations
Continuously identify opportunities to improve coordination processes, scheduling efficiency, and candidate experience
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive candidate and company information
Qualifications:
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering an excellent candidate experience
Ability to troubleshoot scheduling conflicts and adapt quickly in a dynamic, high-growth environment
Proactive, resourceful, and highly responsive, with a strong sense of ownership
Additional Information:
To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
