At Parallel Bio, we are leveraging the human immune system to unlock safer, more effective drugs. We believe immunotherapies are the future of medicine, but their discovery is hindered by outdated models that fail to capture the complexity of the human immune system.

Our platform overcomes these challenges by combining best-in-class human immune organoids with massive scale and advanced computational methods, including AI and machine learning. This allows us to generate unprecedented, population-scale insights into human health and disease.

We can rapidly discover new drugs that we know will work in patients from the start and understand how they will perform across an entire population—something not possible with today's technology. This knowledge will allow us to engineer therapies that will work for as many people as possible, ensuring a safe and effective cure for everyone.

We are a fast-paced, venture-backed company at a pivotal moment of growth. Join us on our journey as we create new tools to push the boundaries of what is possible.

About the Role

We are looking for a results-driven Director, Platform Enterprise Account Executive to join our senior commercial leadership team. This role is ideal for a proven, high-impact "Closer" and "Hunter" who is energized by momentum, thrives in competitive ambiguity, and is relentless in turning market potential into sustainable, closed subscription revenue.

This is a critical, full-cycle and full-funnel sales and business development role focused on driving new platform acquisition across a tiered customer base, ranging from Global Pharmaceutical enterprises to high-growth biotech and tech-forward startups. You will be responsible for closing existing high-priority conversations, expanding relationships at existing accounts, and penetrating new accounts by driving high-volume outreach. Success in this role means establishing our platform as the foundational, long-term substrate layer in the world's leading R&D organizations.

What You’ll Do

  • Cultivate Strategic Relationships: Proactively build and maintain deep, strategic relationships with C-level and S/VP-level executives and key technology buyers across Global Pharma and high-growth Biotech/Tech/Immunotherapeutics firms.

  • Lead Platform GTM Strategy & Execution: Design and execute the Platform Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, including market analysis, account segmentation, and a detailed action plan to cinch identified Enterprise accounts. Continuously review and adjust the plan to ensure alignment with product and scientific priorities.

  • Drive Platform Revenue & Closing: Lead the full sales cycle and full funnel to close near-term, high-value contracts and manage efforts to close existing priority conversations.

  • Build Key Network Relationships: Represent Parallel Bio and drive commercial opportunities by leading network engagements through targeted industry events, conferences, and high-level meetings to broaden and deepen connectivity across the Life Sciences/Biotech ecosystem.

  • Advise Internal Stakeholders: Work closely with leadership and scientific founders to advise on commercialization strategies, pricing, and product positioning based on direct market insights.

  • Synthesize Market Insights: Discern industry R&D needs and trends, effectively communicating these technical and commercial insights to internal investment partners and product teams.

  • Champion Platform Value & Technical Pitching: Serve as the expert capable of articulating the scientific and commercial differentiation of our platform to both technical R&D and executive business audiences.

  • Maintain Operational Excellence: Accurately forecast revenue pipeline in coordination with Finance, manage all activities within the CRM, and ensure alignment between commercial strategy and firm-wide goals.

What You Bring

  • 4-6 years of proven quota-carrying sales and business development experience, with a minimum of 2-3 years focused on navigating and closing complex Enterprise Platform/Subscription deals (>$1M ARR).

  • Proven ability to successfully sell sophisticated SaaS, AI/ML, or biotech platform technologies into SaaS/Software-based Life Sciences industry.

  • Extremely strong active network and relationships across R&D, Clinical, and Technology leadership within Global Pharma and emerging Biotech.

  • Deep experience cultivating and maintaining multi-year relationships with C-level and S/VP-level business and technology executives.

  • Exceptional acumen of both biotech R&D and enterprise SaaS/Software, and the ability to stay abreast of the latest developments in AI/ML and computational biology.

  • Strong expertise in subscription-based selling and structuring long-term recurring revenue partnerships.

  • A natural "Hunter" who is equally effective as a strategic "Closer," capable of driving both end-to-end pipeline generation and deal closure.

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with a focus on executive presence and attention to detail.

  • An analytical thinker who leverages data and market insights to build and iterate on sales and GTM strategy.

  • Low ego, high empathy, and a strong capacity to “roll up your sleeves” and collaborate effectively across diverse scientific, engineering, and commercial teams.

  • Comfort with ambiguity—you are adept at building the structure and processes needed to succeed in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Bonus Points:

  • Track record of building strong relationships with Enterprise Pharma and AI/Biotech startup founders.

  • Prior experience selling biotech tools, services, or platforms used in early-stage R&D (pre-clinical/Phase I).

  • B.S. or M.S. in a Life Science discipline (Biology, Chemistry, Bioengineering, etc.).

This role includes base plus commission.
