The Role
We are seeking a Software Engineering Intern for the summer or fall of 2025 to design, build, and test critical components and services for our fish processing system. You will be working with a fast moving team of software and mechanical engineers during the most exciting phase of our growth – expanding to support new fish species and more robots in the field!

Key Responsibilities
- Support software features from development to deployment
- Collaborate in a multi disciplinary team to improve robot behavior
- Analyze metrics and investigate failure modes
- Comfortable writing and debugging Python scripts
- Enjoys designing user interfaces and iterating based on feedback
- Thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working with cross-functional teams.
- Can break down complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly to different audiences.
- Loves learning new technologies and applying them to solve real-world challenges
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
- Experience writing Python scripts (coursework or personal projects is great!)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience with robotics and marine tech/fisheries is a bonus.
