What You Get To Do
- Own mechanism design from initial concept through build, test, and customer deployment.
- An opportunity to work on a wide range of engineering problems: electro-mechanical design, fluid systems, test and validation, and electrical thermal management design.
- Design real robotics solutions to solve major humanitarian concerns and have a hand in transforming our relationship with food
- The opportunity to work with a cross functional team of perception engineers, controls, mechanical design, and software architecture.
- Travel to industry customers to visit aquaculture farms and boats on east and west US coasts, as well as Mexico.
- B.S./M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Background (experience, portfolio, side projects, coursework) in physical prototyping, mechanism design and misc. mechanical engineering projects
- Experience with CAD tools (NX, Solidworks, etc)
- Hands-on experience with machining, fabrication methods and rapid prototyping
- Exposure to robotics or embedded systems a strong plus
- Ability to work onsite full time in El Segundo office in Los Angeles.
