The Lumber Manufactory (TLM) is reimagining how lumber gets made. We design and operate next-generation modular sawmills that produce high-grade dimensional wood products with greater efficiency and less waste, backed by leading investors including Cantos, Slow Ventures, and Susa Ventures.

We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to lead field operations at our New Albany, MS mill site. If you have ever wanted to build something that actually matters, this is it.

What You Will Do

• Own the full construction lifecycle: scheduling, procurement, subcontractor management, cost tracking, and closeout
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specs, and make sure field work reflects them
• Build and enforce subcontractor scopes, resolve field issues quickly, and coordinate across trades to prevent delays
• Lead pre-construction planning, maintain critical path schedules, and keep labor, materials, and equipment aligned
• Hold the line on OSHA compliance and company safety standards across all site activity
• Inspect work regularly for quality and spec adherence, and manage punch lists through closeout

What You Bring

• 8+ years of construction experience, including time as a Superintendent
• Fluency reading blueprints, drawings, and technical documents
• Strong experience managing vendors, subcontractors, and procurement workflows
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid, or MS Project
• Valid driver's license; ability to travel to project sites
• Preference for candidates in the greater Tupelo, MS area

Work Environment

This is an active, on-site role. Expect to be on your feet, moving around construction areas, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.

Compensation is determined based on experience and background.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
