In the face of rising threats like severe storms and wildfires, increasing pressure on affordability and unprecedented demands for system expansion, Treeswift empowers energy companies to modernize their field work to meet the unprecedented growth and challenges ahead.

To accomplish our mission we deploy our sensors into our customers' field operations , typically on backpacks or vehicles. The resulting LiDAR and imagery data is processed through our AI models to deliver actionable analytics through our web platform. To date, our technology has enabled utilities to reduce wildfire, regulatory and outage risk from vegetation, avoid delays and cost overruns in new construction, and accelerate recovery from severe storms.

In just a year and a half since our first utility pilot we are working with three of the five largest utilities in the United States and rapidly expanding across new customers and use cases. To tackle this challenge we are bringing together a team of mission-driven experts from with deep industry experience in robotics (UPenn, Caltech, CMU) and enterprise software development (Palantir, Stripe, Oracle). About The Role

  • As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for running the full sales process from top of funnel to close in order to secure net new business for Treeswift.
  • You will report to the VP of Revenue.

You are probably a strong fit for this role if you:

  • Live by “ABC”
  • Are a super sharp, scrappy self-starter
  • Can foster genuine rapport with a wide variety of people from different backgrounds, from field operators to the C-suite
  • Know that continuously developing and refining your understanding of a customer’s problems is how you engender credibility and trust and get to the win
  • Get that “showing” is better than “telling” and can demo software excellently
  • Relish being held accountable for ambitious sales targets, and being compensated when you hit those
  • Don’t give up when things don’t work immediately
  • Are excellent at giving and receiving feedback, and at growing based on the feedback you receive
  • Run a tight personal sales process - timely, organized, and data-driven
  • Grok the critical difference between confidence and arrogance

Preferred Experience, Skills, And Qualifications For The Role

  • 6-10+ years of sales experience, preferably in a quota-carrying role with a clear history of meeting and exceeding goal
  • Willingness to travel within the US 50-75% of the time to meet with potential customers, attend conferences, and close deals
  • Strong relevant professional networks within US electric utilities are a big plus

Salary

Depending on candidate quality and experience, the OTE for this role is in the $200,000 to $320,000 range, consisting of a combination of base salary and commissions. This is a quota-carrying role with uncapped commissions.

Total compensation for this position is determined by skills, qualifications, relevant work experience, location, and other factors. This OTE estimate excludes the value of any benefits offered and the potential future value of any long-term incentives, including equity grant(s). This information is provided per the New York City Human Rights Law. Please note that the range provided is applicable only to New York City-based applicants. Base compensation may vary if the work location is outside of New York City.
